Adrian to hold debut Dublin Exhibition over St. Patrick’s Weekend
Adrian will be holding his debut Republic of Ireland exhibition and sale of work at the exclusive Radisson Blu St. Helen’s Hotel, Stillorgan Road, Dublin 4 over St. Patrick’s Weekend (Friday 15th – Monday 18th March). The exhibition is supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland’s Creative Industries Innovation Fund and will be Adrian’s first major exhibition outside of Northern Ireland.
Vivid depictions of Dalkey Island, Dun Laoghaire Harbour, Bray Head, Blackrock, and Seapoint will give the exhibition a very local flavour. Nostalgic depictions of Donegal, Dingle and Connemara combined with Adrian’s distinctive portrayals of the Wicklow hills and North Antrim Coast will make this exhibition like a veritable whistle-stop tour of Ireland. Dramatic Belfast and Dublin cityscapes will be juxtaposed with softer portrayals of Irish traditional music sessions and dancers.
The exhibition opens on the evening of Friday 15th March from 6pm – 9pm at the Radisson Blu St. Helen’s, located on the N11 Stillorgan dual carriageway, the main arterial route from Dublin City Centre to the southern suburbs and the southeast of Ireland. Free car parking is available. The exhibition continues Sat 16th & Sun 17th: 11am – 8pm and Mon 18th: 11am – 6pm. Admission is free. An online preview of the exhibition will be available from Monday 11th March. Telephone the Kilrea Studio on +44 (0)7841593762 for more details.
