Dates announced for August Exhibition

Adrian launches his next solo show at the Radisson Roe Park Resort Limavady at the end of August. This latest body of work places a particular focus on the landscape and people of the Roe Valley and surrounding areas. Visitors to the exhibition will enjoy enigmatic portrayals of local beauty spots such as the Dungiven Castle, Mussenden Temple at Downhill and the Dog Leap Bridge. The artist has drawn inspiration from Saint Aidan’s Priory, Binevenagh, Magilligan, Benone and neighbouring Derry City to make this an exhibition of contrasts.

Nostalgic portrayals of the Inishowen Peninsula echo the areas strong connections with County Donegal, as do the pieces which demonstrate the friendly rivalry of the two Counties’ football teams. Scattered throughout the exhibition will be a number of Adrian’s highly sought-after Irish traditional music session pieces also.

The exhibition opens at the Radisson Roe Park Resort Limavady on the evening of Friday 22nd August from 6.30pm to 9.30pm and continues Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August 11am – 8.30pm. Admission free - everyone welcome.

“Although it was great to see so many new faces at the exhibition – it was also very gratifying to speak with those who have been following my work for some time. I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and look forward to coming back to Walsh’s next summer!” commented Adrian.

This weekend’s exhibition was the first in a series of large scale exhibitions planned for 08/09. Keep an eye on the website or add your name to the mailing list for further updates.
