Adrian and his wife Evana Bjourson will stage their annual joint Summer Exhibition and Sale of Work at Portballintrae Village Hall from Friday 1st – Sunday 3rd August.

Visitors should expect to see Adrian’s dynamic portrayals of Northern Ireland’s landscape and landmarks, especially his bold, colourful depictions of the North Coast that have brought his work to prominence. In addition, visitors will also enjoy his more impressionistic works that adopt a naturalistic colour palette and employ hand and finger-painting techniques.
Evana’s work offers a gentler, more contemplative view of the North Coast: waves in motion, the light over Portstewart Strand, quiet human moments among sweeping views. Her figurative work reflects thoughts on the reason for and role of humanity while her dynamic wave paintings offer a sense of coastal grace.

“This exhibition is a conversation between our artistic voices—one that draws on shared memories and creative exploration. We hope it resonates with the community and uplifts everyone who visits,” said Adrian.

The Exhibition will run Friday 1st August: 11am – 9pm and continues Saturday 2nd August: 11am – 9pm and Sunday 3rd August 11am – 6pm at Portballintrae Village Hall. Admission free – everyone welcome. Free parking is available in front of the Village Hall. Telephone 07841593762 for more information.
